What power do words have?

The power of words is to shape reality.

Words are the basis of social relationships, of self-expression, of our very existence.

Think about your given name: even if you don't like it, you correspond to that name and not just that.

Even the nicknames you are given or the pseudonyms you give yourself speak volumes about you, about who you are and how you are seen by other people.

Our journey into the theme of language will seek to discover how words transform or deform the world inside and outside us or open us to possibilities, imagination and awareness.
